Insta360 Ace Pro vs DJI Osmo Action 4 (All Specs Compared) 3 Models
The Ace Pro (Insta360) and Action 4 (DJI) are similar action cameras. They were released in 2023 and both shoot quality footage. I’ll compare the Insta360 Ace Pro vs DJI Osmo Action 4 in this guide.
Ace Pro is the best choice for higher-resolution video (8K) and low-light conditions. It features a flip touchscreen and AI integrations, great for vlogging and content creators.
DJI’s Osmo Action 4 is best if you want a smaller, lighter camera that shoots 4K video. It is waterproof to 59 feet without additional housing and has a longer battery life.
Ace Pro and Action 4 both have the industry-leading 1/1.3″ sensor, wireless mic capability, and outstanding image stabilization features.
Here’s the full breakdown of these two action cameras. I own the Ace Pro (review) and the Osmo Action 4 by DJI. I took the photos in this post of my cameras. And I have used both in content creation. I’ve been shooting with action cameras since 2012.

- DJI Osmo Action 4: The Action 4 is lighter, smaller, and has a longer battery life. It is also waterproof to 59 ft (almost double the 33 ft of the Ace Pro). And the MRSP price is right between the Ace and Ace Pro.
