Here are the cameras and accessories we actually use.
Our Cameras
Action Cameras: GoPro, DJI, Insta360
We own 10 GoPro cameras, back to the Hero3 Black. It probably comes as no surprise that the latest model (Hero11 Black) is the best model.
Get your GoPro Hero11 Black on Amazon, B&H Photo, or Best Buy.
We also own the DJI Action 3, DJI Action 2, Insta360 One X2, and an older Akaso camera.
Get your DJI Action 3 on DJI, Amazon, or Best Buy.
Get your DJI Action 2 on DJI, Amazon, or BestBuy.
Get your Insta360 X3camera on Insta360 or Amazon.
Other Cameras: Sony, Panasonic, Olympus
We have a number of other cameras, including the Sony ZV-1, Panasonic LX100 II, and a couple of older DSLR cameras. We also have a waterproof Olympus camera and three trail cameras.
Get the Olympus Tough TG-6 on Amazon.
Drone: DJI
We have the DJI Mini 2 drone. And we have plans for the Mini 3 or Mavic 3.
Get your DJI Mini 3 drone on DJI, Amazon, or BestBuy.
Camera Accessories
Here are the accessories and mounts we’re currently using on our adventures.
DJI Selfie Stick
I’m loving the Osmo Action 3 extension rod. At 5 ft (1.5 m), it is one of the longest selfie sticks I’ve owned. It is stable, long, and has a nice grip.
Car Mount: Delkin Fat Gecko
See this mount on Amazon or Adorama. Here are a few more options for car mounts.
Stuntman 360: Shoulder Mount
For stable footage, you can’t do better than the Stuntman 360. Here are a few more options for camera shoulder mounts.
Peak Design Capture Camera Clip (GoPro Backpack Mount)
Get your Peak Design camera clip on Amazon or PeakDesign.
