Since the first DJI Pocket camera was released in 2018, they have boasted exceptional battery life. This guide will teach you about DJI Pocket battery life, including specs and charging tips.

You can expect a battery life of more than 2 hours from every DJI Pocket camera. Charging time is just over an hour. The batteries in the DJI Pocket cameras are not removable and must be serviced by a DJI repair shop.

DJI Pocket Camera Battery Life

DJI Pocket cameras are made with a non-removable battery. If your battery fails, you must return it to DJI for servicing.

How to Charge Your DJI Pocket Battery

Because the Pocket has no removable battery, you must recharge it via a USB cable.

  • 4 Power Sources: You can charge it using a USB adapter, USB port on your computer, USB adapter in your car, or a power bank. Tip: Consider bringing a charged power bank, to charge it on the go. Just connect the USB cable and toss it in your bag.
  • Recommended Power: 5V/2A USB
  • USB Cable: Be sure to bring a USB-C cable
  • Charging Temperature: 41° to 140° F (5° to 60° C). When the temperature is on the upper end of this scale (113° to 140° F / 45° to 60° C) the charge current is reduced.
  • The Pocket camera is fully charged when the LED light turns off.

DJI Pocket Blink Meanings

Your DJI Pocket will indicate the battery level of recharge via blinking patterns.

Here’s what Pocket’s green blinks mean.

  • 1 Green Blink: 0-24%
  • 2 Green Blinks: 25-49%
  • 3 Green Blinks: 50-74%
  • 4 Green Blinks: 75-99%
  • Solid Green for 6 seconds, then turns off: 100%

If you’ll do a firmware update, make sure that the Pocket has at least 15% battery charge.
